Academy’s Clinical Case Discussions

Psychiatry Education Forum Academy is excited to announce a new feature for our academy members:

Clinical Case Discussions

In this section, we will discuss the clinical cases from our daily clinical practice with a focus on relevant facts only. I will encourage all academy members to participate in these discussions to gain more out of these discussions.

We begin our discussion with following case #1:

Anxiety Post Chronic Benzodiazepine Discontinuation

This is a case of a patient who was on clonazepam at a high dose of 16 mg/day for 15 years and was tapered off clonazepam completely, with no benzodiazepines for the last 2 years. He continues to report anxiety on a daily basis.
