Antidepressant to avoid in patients with seizure disorders:

  • Buproprion

Antidepressant to avoid in patients with uncontrolled hypertension:

  • Venlafaxine

Antidepressant of choice in patient with low BMI/ low appetite/ decline in weight:

  • Mirtazapine

Antidepressant with warning for prolongation of QTc:

  • Citalopram

Antidepressant of choice in patient with high risk of bleeding or history of bleeding in past:

  • Mirtazapine, Bupropion
